Ébéniste LEAD - Installateur/ SUPERVISEUR - LEAD Cabinet Maker - Installer/ SUPERVISOR

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un chef ébéniste-installateur/superviseur hautement qualifié pour prendre en charge nos opérations. Dans ce rôle, vous guiderez et encadrerez notre équipe d'ébénistes, en veillant à ce que les normes de qualité soient élevées et à ce que les projets soient achevés dans les délais impartis. Vous superviserez et participerez à l'installation quotidienne et aux opérations de l'atelier, collaborerez avec les services de planification et de conception afin de hiérarchiser les tâches, et gérerez efficacement la production et l'installation afin de répondre aux demandes des clients.

Responsabilités

- Superviser et planifier le travail quotidien, les tâches et les horaires de tous les ébénistes de l'atelier et de l'installation.

- Assurer la sécurité, la qualité et l'efficacité pendant la production et l'installation, et encourager les ébénistes à résoudre les problèmes avec la meilleure solution possible

- Guider et encadrer les ébénistes, en leur offrant assistance et soutien afin d'inciter l'équipe à atteindre son plein potentiel.

- Assurer la coordination avec les services de planification et de conception afin de fournir des mises à jour sur l'avancement des travaux, de répondre aux préoccupations et de veiller à ce que les exigences du projet soient respectées.

- Contrôler l'installation et la productivité de l'atelier et recommander des mesures d'amélioration.

- Préparer et réviser la liste des coupes, si nécessaire

- Lire et interpréter les dessins d'atelier, d'ingénierie et les bleus.

- Finition et assemblage final des produits

- Prototypage de produits internes ou de projets de clients

- superviser et aider à l'assemblage d'unités personnalisées

We are in search of a highly skilled Lead Cabinet Maker-Installer/Supervisor to take charge of our operations. In this role, you will guide and mentor our team of cabinetmakers, ensuring high-quality standards and timely project completion. You will supervise and participate in daily installation and shop operations, collaborate with the Planning and Design departments to prioritize tasks, and manage production and installation effectively to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

·         Oversee and schedule the daily work, tasks and schedules of all shop and installation cabinet makers

·         Ensure safety, quality and efficiency during production and installation,

           and encourage cabinet makers to fix problems with the best solution

·         Guide and mentor cabinetmakers, offering assistance and support to inspire a team to reach their fullest potential

·         Coordinate with Planning and Design departments to provide progress updates, address concerns, and ensure project requirements are met

·         Monitor installation and shop productivity and recommend measures for improvement

·         Prepare and review Cutlist, if needed

·         Read and interpret shop/engineering drawings/blueprints

·         Finishing and final assembly of products

·         Prototyping of internal products or customer projects

·         Oversee and assist in assembling custom units

·         Install and attend site visits, ex: install cabinets, take final measurements, do quality on-site checks

·         Coordinate maintenance of equipment/machinery

·         Attend and contribute to staff and training meetings

WHAT YOU OFFER
 

·         Demonstrated experience as a cabinetmaker, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or supervisory position

·         Hands-on experience in millworking methods; CNC production, materials coordination, equipment and tools usage

·         Strong communication and leadership skills

·         Ability to consistently and positively motivate your team to meet deadlines while maintaining morale, as well as high quality and safety standards

·         Self-starter: Can work responsibly and independently with minimal supervision

·         Team player: Understands that they play an important role to the company's success

·         Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Demonstrate a respectful and caring attitude while dealing with customers and coworkers

·         Innovative thinker: Consistently brainstorms ways to improve safety and efficiency, proposes innovative solutions while reducing costs and lead              time

·         AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate in Cabinet Making

·         Clean driving record

·         Linguistic knowledge: English or French

-Work shift: Full time. Monday to Friday, with additional hours as needed
